The Cabin at Mountainaire

This classic sled was purchased by Jill’s dad when she was a kid. Made in Pennsylvania, it’s one of the first things we took up to the cabin. This March, when Dennis asked for some inspiration to create an art piece as a housewarming and birthday gift, the Lightning Guider was the perfect fit.

This last weekend, Dennis had finished exhibiting the piece in a small art show at Sony and it was finally time for it to take the trip up the hill to it’s new home. Other than some initial digital mock-ups, he had kept all the details of the piece a secret from us so this was our first time to see it.

It has a classic look that sets the perfect mood for the cabin. If you think it looks good in the photos you have to see it in person–the attention to detail is fantastic.
